Bag-Box and Book tute.

Here it is girlies...lol...VERY picture heavy, sorry about that, and I sooo hope it will be easy to follow, but hey, I did my best...
Start by cutting out 4 half moon shapes, any size you want...

Measure round the half moon with a piece of card, cut out 2 of these and score at 1cm
and then cut as shown...mine usually measure about 4cms deep..

Stick round edge of one of the moon shapes
So it looks like this, then stick the other half moon on top to cover that awful looking mess you just made..lol..

You should have two of these before you go any further...

Now you want another piece of card that goes around the bag , only this time it should be much deeper, this will stick to the bottom half of one half moon only ...
as you can see below

If you want a short strap then add it like so, with brads or anything you prefer

If you prefer a longer strap, like this one, then it has to wrap around the outer bag before you attach the bottom square, which will be stuck to both top and bottom so the lid lifts back...does that make sense...
This is the bones of it, I really hope you can follow my not so fabulous instructions....if not, well you'll just have to pop in and I'll show you...lol....

Just to show how different they can look, I made the big one for Mia when she was really tiny, filled it with goodies for her, and she took it everywhere, it's now battered and very bruised, but she still has an affection for it...lol....

Hope this helps, don't forget to let others know where you saw it, many thanks, hugs Janette.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
My friend asked how I go about making books for albums or journal and the like, this is how I always do it, sure others do different ways but this is mine and is a guide only I hope it helps.

I really hope it explains itself, please shout out if you need to ask anything.
The one here is a small one just to show, make as big or as small as you want, I should laso add, the pages are A4 card. folded in half and I always leave the top  open for tags etc. Really hope this helps.x
